Accounting Manager

We are seeking an Experienced Accounting Manager

Job Summary:

The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the construction industry. The candidate will responsible for the accounting department. Duties will include public projects billing, general ledger journal entries, preparation of semi-annual WIP reports, and financial statement preparation. The candidate must be familiar with union reporting, certified payroll, and project releases.


Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Manages the accounting staff who are responsible for financial reporting, billing, collections, payroll, and budget preparation.

  • Recruits and hires accounting and financial staff and conducts performance evaluations.

  • Coordinates training programs for new staff and identifies training needs for current staff.



  • Establishes internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation.

  • Oversees preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.

  • Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards.

  • Prepare and submit pay applications for all public work projects

  • Prepare semi-annual WIP report

  • Audits accounts to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations; coordinates with outside auditors and provides needed information for the annual external audit.

  • Presents recommendations to management on short- and long-term financial objectives and policies.

  • Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.

  • Procure, review, and manage insurance policies, general liability, workers' compensation, health, and other required insurance policies.

  • Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.


Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Full knowledge of Union Payroll requirements and Certified Payroll

  • Public work contract laws

  • Excellent management and supervisory skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Proficient in accounting and tax preparation software.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration required.

  • Five years or more of related experience is required.

  • Certified Public Accountant designation preferred.


Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.


$65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Delivery Driver

We are seeking a candidate for a Delivery Driver

As a Delivery Driver, you will contribute to our team by:

  • Be able to lift 50LB

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Load the truck

  • Drive to various construction sites

  • Offload the truck

  • Maintain shop inventories, shop supplies, and job materials

  • Meet suppliers at job sites to coordinate delivery of temporary facilities

  • Clearing out the construction site storage containers

  • Ensuring all company, client, procedures, and standards are adhered to

  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Foremen, field personnel, and purchasing

  • Ensuring safety standards are always adhered to, and leading by example

  • Work early mornings 6:00 am to 2:30 pm

  • Flexible hours and available to work overtime


What you will bring to the role:

  • Three (3) years of experience

  • Ability to establish a good working relationship with many different people, including owners, other managers, and field staff

  • bilingual Spanish/English preferred

  • Must possess a valid driver's license

  • Must have a CLEAN driving record


  • $18.50 to $22.00 per hour (based on experience)

Project Coordinator

We are seeking viable candidates for a Project Coordinator


  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment, and information

  • Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes

  • Liaise with sales, project managers, and clients to identify and define requirements, scope, and objectives

  • Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management

  • Make sure that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve

  • Help prepare budget sheets and forms

  • Analyze risks and opportunities

  • Oversee project procurement management

  • Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise

  • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants

  • Work with the Project Manager to eliminate blockers

  • Use tools to monitor working hours, plans, and expenditures

  • Issue all appropriate legal paperwork (e.g. contracts and terms of the agreement)

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports

  • Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests


  • An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules, and step-by-step action plans

  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management

  • Strong client-facing and teamwork skills

  • Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Planner

  • Hands-on experience with project management tools (e.g. MS Project and Smartsheet)


  • $55,000 to $75,000 (based on experience)
